Martin Fitzgerald, PhD: Bioethical  Approach to Medicine

Dr. Marty Fitzgerald is a faculty member with the Center for Bioethics at The Ohio State University. Prior to joining Ohio State, he attended the joint philosophy and healthcare ethics PhD program at Saint Louis University. His research interests lie in the overlap between empirical biology and philosophy with particular attention to human-animal chimeras, neuroethics, infectious disease, and the history of medicine. Currently he lives in Columbus with his wife Maegan.
