Antoinette Pusateri, MD: Self-Care and Reframing

Dr. Antoinette Pusateri is a second-year fellow physician in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, she completed her undergraduate training at the University of Notre Dame, where she was a Glenna R. Joyce Scholar and majored in biological sciences and theology. She went on to The Ohio State University College of Medicine to earn her medical degree and stayed at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center for her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. Her clinical and research interests focus on the care of patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. She has a passion for healthcare equity and advocacy as demonstrated through her leadership in the Graduate Medical Education IDEA Council. She also has a special interest in the intersection of medicine, wellness and the arts, expressed through her leadership in the Gold Humanism Honor Society medical student and resident/fellow chapters and artistic collaborations at OSUCOM through her Ether Arts poetry publications.
